Yes! We understand that every swimmer learns differently, and finding the right instructor match is important. If you feel that another Miss Jesse Swims instructor might be a better fit, just let us know, and we’ll work with you to make the switch as smoothly as possible.

Yes! We believe that swimming is for everyone and offer adaptive lessons for individuals with special needs. Our instructors use personalized teaching methods to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and supportive experience for all swimmers. Safety is our top priority. All of our instructors are CPR and First Aid certified, and we incorporate water safety education into every lesson. We focus on teaching swimmers how to navigate deep water, practice safe entries and exits, and remain calm in unexpected situations.

Yes! We provide swim lessons throughout the year. During colder months, we offer lessons in indoor facilities, and during the warmer months, we have options for outdoor pools and in-home lessons. No matter the season, we’re here to help you build strong swimming skills!

Lesson Details & Preparation

For each lesson, bring a swimsuit, towel, and goggles. Depending on your instructor’s recommendations, you may also need a swim cap, fins, or other training equipment. For young swimmers, we recommend bringing a change of clothes and any necessary swim diapers.

This varies based on age, experience, and comfort in the water. Some beginners may develop basic skills within a few lessons, while others may need more time to build confidence and refine techniques. We assess progress regularly and adjust lessons to fit each swimmer’s needs.

We recommend signing up as early as possible, especially during peak seasons like summer, when lesson slots fill up quickly. If you have a specific schedule or instructor preference, booking ahead ensures availability.

Yes, lesson packs must be used within a set timeframe, which varies depending on the package. This helps maintain consistency in learning and progress. Please contact us for specific expiration details based on your package.

It’s completely normal for some children to feel nervous in the water. Our instructors specialize in making swim lessons a fun, pressure-free experience, using patience, encouragement, and gradual skill-building to help each swimmer feel safe and comfortable.

For infant and toddler lessons, parents are encouraged to be in the water to provide reassurance and support. For older children and adults, we typically recommend that parents observe from the poolside to allow the swimmer to focus on learning with their instructor.

Policies & Scheduling

We understand that every swimmer has unique needs, and we want you to feel confident in your choice. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out, and we’ll help you determine if our program is the best fit for you or your child.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a late cancellation fee. This policy helps us ensure fair scheduling and allows other swimmers the opportunity to book open slots.

In general, we do not offer refunds, but we will work with you to reschedule lessons or apply credits toward future sessions if necessary. Our goal is to ensure that you receive the full value of your lessons.

In certain cases, we can pause your lessons and resume at a later date. However, availability may be limited depending on the season. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to adjust your lesson schedule.
